Well and good, but how do we move to - and use - a new level of consciousness?
Bees work co-operatively for the good of the planet. Without them there would be no fruit or vegetables. At this time the planet needs human bees, able to work holistically in tune with a greater intelligence, and to make the nectar needed to heal the planet’s immune system.
We are therefore offering a year-long course, one day per month, to equip women and men with the skills, insight and knowledge to understand the challenges facing us and act effectively to address them, using 21st century consciousness. Co-ordinated by Scilla Elworthy, the course will include:
1. An
introductory ‘taster’ day when you can learn what the
course involves and what
it will ask of you
3. Group
process and inter-personal skills
4. Implementing
key 21st century values in the way you lead
5.
Increasing
your energy from within, and your joy
6.
Conflict
transformation: exploring a range of conflict-handling skills
7.
Collaborative problem-solving: engaging all stake-holders to produce
durable
agreement
8.
Spiritual
path: identifying and working with a spiritual practice
9.
Thinking
systemically: daily use of a holistic approach
10. Soul
power: healing ourselves and our world
11.
Bringing
about actual changes in policy, or in a specific situation
12. The
practicalities: organisational set-up,
mentoring, support networks.
The
course
is taking place at Grove House,
a
beautiful Regency home two miles from Oxford station, on one day per
month over
a year’s period, enabling participants to remain in employment
during the
course. There will be an optional desert retreat during the second part
of the
course.
